When Luna and her best friend explore the empty fairground in preparation for her father's big plans, they come across strange, creaky rides and a mysterious pen found inside an old carnival tent. Luna pockets the pen and later discovers that her sketchbook contains an illustration of a mysterious boy she's never met. Then her doorbell rings, and it's the same boy . . . standing at her door.
