We at Wandering Raccoon Books are happy to complete special or custom orders. To best facilitate these orders for both our readers and our staff, we have enacted the policy below. Titles may be requested in-store during regular business hours, or using the title request widget on this website.
Titles Currently In Print:
To request a title that is currently in active publication that is not currently carried in our shop, the following information must be provided by the requestor:
- Name
- Shipping Address
- Email Address
If the requested title or titles are available for Wandering Raccoon Books staff to order, the items shall be made available and the payment collected in advance. Once the payment has processed and the above information provided, the requested title or titles shall be added to the next incoming order to Wandering Raccoon Books. Upon receipt of the special order items, Wandering Raccoon Books staff shall alert the requestor and offer the following options for transfer of the items:
- In-store Pick-up : Complementary
- Shipping : Economy shipping shall be capped at $5. Expedited shipping shall incur an additional charge based on current shipping rates.
Exceptions:
Should the requestor have an alternate timeline, these needs shall be communicated to Wandering Raccoon Books staff prior to the completion of the order. If Wandering Raccoon Books cannot reasonably accommodate the timeline, staff shall decline to process the special order.
Titles Out of Print:
To request a title that is not currently in active publication, the following additional criteria shall apply.
- Subject to limited availability
- Price will vary based on the condition of the item, with "mint" or "new" condition items being of greatest cost and "good", "average", or "poor" condition items being of lowest cost.
- Expedited shipping shall not apply
