THIS ITEM IS AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER ONLY AND WILL BE RELEASED ON 04 MAY 2027.

Before the Coffee Gets Cold meets Spirited Away in this charming Korean bestselling fantasy sensation about a doctor whose new apothecary leads him on an unexpected healing journey among both the living and the dead.

Meet Seungbeom: thirty-three, male, demoted doctor, and Sujeong: sixty-eight, female, ghost whisperer.

After years of climbing the career ladder at his prestigious hospital in Seoul, Seungbeom is caught in a disastrous bribery scandal and denied the long-sought promotion he deserves. Bruised and indignant, he impulsively quits his job and decides to open up his own traditional medicine clinic in the countryside. But his new shop remains empty, while the apothecary across the street has a line out the door.

It's late at night when Seungbeom sees the ghost for the first time: she sits in casual conversation with his rival apothecary owner, Sujeong. From the next morning on, Seungbeom can see the spirit supernaturally coaxing people into Sujeong's store, including patients who've traveled all the way from Seoul just to see Seungbeom.

When he decides to confront the mysterious ghost, she makes a surprising demand, and Seungbom is faced with a choice: do something that could earn him jailtime if he gets caught, or risk losing his new business altogether. Just how far is Seungbeom willing to go to find the success he's always sought?
